Works in various media by 50 different artists, including Picasso, Renoir, Nevelson, Rauschenberg, and Motherwell, among others, along with outdoor sculptures by Dorothy Gillespie.

This annual exhibition shows the breadth of subject matter and media in current works by RU Art Faculty.

Ibram Lassaw: Deep Space and Beyond
Friday, February 1st thru Friday, March 8th
Reception: Thursday, February 14th at 5 p.m.
Sculptures, drawings, paintings, and prints dating from the late 1920s through the beginning of the 21st century by world-renowned Abstract Expressionist Ibram Lassaw. An illustrated catalog co-authored by Arthur Jones and Denise Lassaw accompanies this exhibition. The show will travel to the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art at St. Petersburg College in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Wednesday, March 20th thru Sunday, March 29th the Gallery will be closed to the public because of the BFA Exit and Portfolio Reviews.

Aunt Jemima vs. Betty Crocker: An Evolving Exhibition by Sean StarWars and B. Stephen Carpenter II

The names of these two familiar cultural icons are juxtaposed in such a way that the viewer is forced to make certain assumptions about them, and thereby stage plausible confrontations between not only the two women, but also among various social, cultural, racial, and historical issues that their names and images imply.
